Summer Weddings in Vermont
Welcome to 2021 and the Summer of Weddings!
Whether you’re newly engaged or thrilled to finally celebrate a delayed wedding, local caterer bevo has you covered.
Wedding planners say this summer will break all records for the number of weddings sure to occur in the warmer months when people can safely gather.
Everyone knows Vermont is a beautiful and scenic place to be married. Yet another point of pride is its embrace of collaboration between local businesses.
In this post, we share some of our very favorite venues and vendors in Vermont.
Country Charm at West Monitor Barn
West Monitor Barn (pictured above) is a stunning, historic green wedding venue in Richmond, Vermont. You can marry and do good at the same time by booking your event here, as all rental proceeds go towards funding Vermont Youth Conservation Corps (VYCC) programs!
Wedding Wire says, “Spacious and cozy, The West Monitor Barn exudes unparalleled rustic charm.” With restored historic timber frame reception space and carriage barn lamps, your guests will get the real Vermont experience.
“Outside, the West Monitor Barn is surrounded by spectacular views of forests, woodlands, conserved fields, and the foothills of Camel’s Hump.”
Bevo is the exclusive bar service of weddings at West Monitor Barn.
Vermont Vendors
As a catering company, we work closely with vendors to create a seamless event. Here are a few trusted partners we’ve worked with in the past year:
Looking for a wedding planner?
Harlow & Dahlia Events “delight in taking each client’s unique story and transforming it into a stunning and carefully crafted event.”
Owner Claudia Rollin offers an exquisite and stress-free celebration. She crafts events that are modern, elegant and timeless. Trust us, a planner is well worth the investment!
You’ll also need an experienced wedding photographer.
Our pick is Michael Tallman Photography. He says of his work, “At weddings at home in Vermont and around the world, photography is my tool for documenting the light, shared love, unbridled happiness and enduring optimism of marriage rites.”
Check out Michael’s online portfolio, where his stunning photographs are “based on seeking moments that illustrate your personalities and the feeling of the day.”
How about music?
We at bevo can recommend DJ Nick Stryker of 802 Events.
Sometimes couples choose to host a reception with a DJ at an indoor venue (check out our beautiful event space at bevo!), but a more rustic countryside wedding calls for special setups in the technology department.
This is where 802 Events really shines. They specialize in excellent preparation, pre-planning for all the possibilities an outdoor gathering can pose.
They explain, “We leave nothing to chance.” With experience at both outdoor and indoor local receptions, “We take pride in familiarizing ourselves with your venue in advance.”
Venue Prep and Setup
Finally, what about all the logistics, such as the setup of wedding ceremony chairs and outdoor dance floors? We highly recommend VT Tent Co.
Not only do they provide setup and takedown of your outdoor wedding tent, they offer Vermont’s most expansive selection tabletop options and linens.
Vermont Tent Company is a nationally recognized leader and innovator in the event rental industry. Check out their beautiful galleries for romantic reception inspiration!
